Stay with our family in a large, rustic house full of history. Guest rooms are on the 3rd floor (UK 2nd floor) — up a steep, old-fashioned staircase, no elevator. Choose from:
All rooms include comfortable beds, a wardrobe or shelving and a desk.
Breakfast, bedding and towels are included in every booking. Dinner is available for an extra charge and is usually shared with the family, or you may use the family kitchen to cook your own meals. Good WiFi throughout the house.
This is a family home, and not a hotel — expect creaky floors, ongoing small renovations, and family life. I speak English, Norwegian, French and some Arabic and German. Several children (14+) live here and share the common spaces, though their bedrooms and bathroom are in a separate, private part of the house.
You're welcome to use the family kitchen, music room and living rooms — read, play piano, or borrow board games. Traveling with kids? We have toys, Lego, a cot and stair safety gates on request. We also have a rabbit and a very friendly young dog.
Please note: parties and noise are not permitted.

The Green room has a private, ensuite bathroom. The double bed easily converts to two single beds on request, and the small sofa is a surprisingly comfortable sofa bed.

The China room is for one person - or two people who don't mind sleeping close together, as the bed is only 140 cm wide.
The China room and the Traveller room share the blue bathroom just across the hallway.

The Traveller room can sleep 3 adults. The 4th person has to sleep in the top bunk!
The double bed easily converts to two singles - if possible, let me know beforehand.
